Gallivant DMV launched in July 2020, during a global pandemic. Who creates a website about going places in a global pandemic? Cassandra Denise! I wanted parents/friend groups to know about local gems, my experiences, and the “know before you go” points. Gallivant DMV is a resource and guide to experiences in the DMV and beyond. Black representation matters! It is important to see Black explorers featured and Black joy highlighted!
